I am very excited and proud to be part of the team at Koyo High School. It is the only nationally-designated Super Science High School in Aichi Prefecture.
What does this mean? It means that the Japanese Ministry of Education has recognized the science and math faculty to be of the highest caliber and as a result has designated special funding and recognition to the school in order to draw the best science and math students in the area. We have a dedicated science department with top-notch faculty and facilities. Our students are carefully selected and are not only highly intelligent, but extremely motivated to pursue their interests in science and math.
